where did it all begin?

Well I guess its best to start at the very beginning which is back when i was 14 years old.
I used to baby sit for a lady up the road from me who I have always seen as my 2nd mother, she had
one son who at the time was just under one.
She was such a amazing mother her son was a miracle baby as she found it very hard to get pregnant, as soon as I found out she could not have any more babies it truly broke my heart and all I wanted to do was help her have another child, of course I was to young, but that thought has never left my mind of one day wanting to help another family feel complete like I do with my now family.

This feeling became even stronger after I had my own family.
I had my first son when I was 15 and was very lucky to have the help of my amazing mother, she helped me raise Joshua my now just about 15 year old until I meet my now husband.
I meet my husband Darren when Josh was just over a year old, we went on to have a little girl a year latter called Tyla-Rose we thought our family was complete and started to plan our wedding.

While planning our wedding I found out I was pregnant again, so we put wedding on hold as could not afford both,
I was 9 weeks when I first found out I was pregnant, and this pregnancy changed all our life's for ever,
For at our 20 week scan we found out our son had brain damage and the worse kind of spinabifta and would not survive.
So sadly we had him a week later and he was born a angel,
Even tho Ryan was not planned we were so looking forward to him arriving and loved him beyond words, he is still very much apart of our family and always will be.
I have included a link to a special video I made in memory of our son with his story on it (please note tho this does have photos of our son on it)  https://www.facebook.com/charmaine.staal.94/videos/vb.719866855/432474996855/?type=3&theater

After a lot of talking my husband and I decided to try for another baby, and even tho this only took about 2 to 3 months to conceive it felt like forever.
Making me think back to all the amazing want to be mums and dads out there that wait and try for years and years and don't always have a happy ending.

A year latter in 2006 just about to the day our son Mitchell was born,
Mitchell has brought so much love and joy to all those around him

In 2007 we finally got married and then moved over to Brisbane from nz and yep was pregnant again with my now just about 7 year old little princess Izabelle. and trust me she is a true princess just ask my mum :)

The thought of wanting to be a surrogate never left my mind, it was always at the back wondering if it could be done, how you go about becoming one etc.
But I always thought it could only be done in America..........

Forever in our hearts never far from our minds
